If your company needs lower tooling prices, but with the flexibility of injection molding at home, Shenghua Mould can build and ship tools to you, built according to the specifications of your injection machines. Shenghua Mould can produce tools from hardened or stainless steel and with the base construction, gate type, cavity materials and other features that you require.
By making molds in China customers can substantially reduce their initial investments, allocating that revenue towards extra inventory, for example. We manufacture tooling to suit our clients' injection molding machines, and our tools arrive and fit directly, with details such as cooling line connections already
prepared for your existing set-up.
We provide detailed drawings for customer approval, and always provide prototypes for first article approval prior to packaging and shipping the tools. Depending on your project requirements, we can either build tools to your specifications, including materials, processes, polishing and texturing standards, or we can take your functional requirements for the tool and injection moldings and produce specifications and tool designs to match.
Parts Design (client may provide completed 3D files)
The tooling process begins with a completed and checked part design. We will check and evaluatecan your design before tooling in order to lower your costs and ensure that your design will yield nice injection molded parts.
Parts Prototyping (if necessary)
If you would like to validate your parts design with a machined piece that you can see and feel, we can use Computer Numerical Control (CNC) techniques or SLA/SAL method to prototype your parts.
Mold / Tool Design
At this stage the tool is designed, using the information from your completed Tooling Information Worksheet.
Tool Check and Mold Flow Analysis
The tool design is validated for correctness.
Tool Fabrication (including use of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) technologies)
The tool is precisely fabricated according to the validated design. Our project management team will keep you updated on tool making progress on a weekly basis with pictures and report.
First Shots To Client
Once the injection molds are made, the first test shot samples will be sent out soon via international courier. Once sent, these usually take around 2-5 days to arrive.
Tool Modifications and Texturing
At this stage Shenghua completes the tool and makes any required changes to bring the tool into the approved spec. Changes made to bring the tool to spec (excluding design changes, which are always charged for) are made free of charge by us.
At this stage, texturing also takes place, which is normally the last stage before mass production.
Mass Production Run or Export
At this stage parts are produced and delivered to the customer, or the tool is released for export use.

Type of Molds We Build
The mass production molds we have built and shipped include:
All the moulds we build for export are according to DME or HASCO standards per customers requirements.
Hot Runner Systems We Use
We mainly use YUDO, MOLDMASTER, MASTERTIP and HUSKY according to customers requirements.
Mold Insert Steels We Use
The mold steels we mostly use include P20, 718/738H, NAK80, 2344, 2316, H13 and S136. These steels can be both imported or China made, depending on customers requirements and budget.
Mold Surface Treatment
It can be high polish, mirror polish, SPI standards. Different textures can be made, either according to MT Textures or texture reference customers supply.
Softwares We Use
Our engineers and designers are using AutoCAD (2D Modeling), Pro/E (3D Modeling), Solidworks (3D Modeling), MasterCAM (CNC Programming), Moldflow (Mould Flow Analysis). We accept product files with PDF, DXF, DWG, IGS, STP, X_T and SLDPRT extensions.
Main QC Procedures We Follow
Where to Test Molds
For all the molds that can be mounted on 450 ton JSW injection machine, they will be tested in house. For all the moulds that need to be tested with the machine above 450 ton, they shall be tested in the professional mold test shops close to our factory, which is about 20 minutes drive away.
If you have a new mould that need to be built, or intend to build another mold for one of your existing parts, please send us an email to: shenghuamould[at]gmail.com with your requirements and specifications for the mould.
If you would like to see automatic running videos of the molds that we built before for reference, please specify the mold for a specific product you would like to see by email so that we can go over our data bank and get back to you with a video for the similar product mold we made.
